The secret to a good restaurant is simple food done really well and that's exactly what you get here! The service was excellent without feeling rushed, and the food and the price were excellent. You may have to wait for a table, but there's a very good reason for that, so dont be put off, it's worth the wait.

Excellent restaurant located in the old city of Lecce. Typical dishes of tradition of Salento are served with good care, together with a glass of fine Negroamaro or Primitivo. Prices are fair, a good value for money choice.

This osteria was recommended by our landlord. We went there after evening sightseeing as were very hungry. We steped in without reservation had luck and served immediately. Staff were kind and quick so we didn't starve. Food and drinks were excellent. After this experience I have to admit that there is life beyond pasta and pizza too in Italy. Delicious local dishes were served like horse steak. English menu is also available however 90% of guests were local Italian????????.

Very nice Osteria in Old Town Lecce. Food was simple but tasty. Service was excellent and friendly.

Looking for a traditional dinner, I ended up here and I am so glad cause the food was amazing!!! We were two and we had quite a lot of food from the bruschette, the typical cheese, horse meatballs, two pasta dishes orecchiette and the checkpeas pasta, and the horse tagliata. Everything was excellent and the location so beautiful. I will come back and I totally recommed it.

We stopped there for a quick lunch, felt a little sorry not to taste more. There aren’t many gluten free options

If you're looking for typical yet delicious food in Lecce, this is the place to be! Our b&b host recommended to eat here and we were not disappointed. They also have wonderful staff - very attentive and friendly. We ordered a few typical dishes to try and we certainly went back satisfied. We will definitely go back here if we have the opportunity to visit Lecce again.
